Ester Boserup Award Show 2024
You are invited to this year’s Ester Boserup Prize Award Event.
We are pleased to announce that The Ester Boserup Prize for Research on Development 2024 will be awarded to Michael J. Watts, Professor Emeritus of Geography at the University of California, Berkeley.
At the award event, Michael J. Watts will give an open lecture titled: A Tale of Two Women Economists: Ester Boserup, Polly Hill, and the study of Agrarian Systems. The Ester Boserup Thesis Prize 2024 will be awarded to David Singh, PhD, who also will give an open lecture at the event titled Winds of Change.
When: May 16th, 2024, 14.00 to 17.00
