PhD thesis receive the Ester Boserup Prize for the first time

Researcher, Steven L. B. Jensen, receive the Ester Boserup Prize for his PhD thesis on human rights after 1945 where developing countries were - surpricingly - in the lead. He is the first to receive the prize for a PhD thesis. In the justification for the nomination it is said that Jensen documents how the global south secured global breakthrough for the human rights by keeping more powerful nations busy.
