Helfer Teaches Open Online Course On International Human Rights

Laurence Helfer will teach a online course titled “International Human Rights Law: Prospects and Challenges”. The cource begins on 19 October 2015.

Visiting Professor Laurence Helfer will teach a open-access online course (MOOC) titled “International Human Rights Law: Prospects and Challenges” through the online education platform Coursera.  The course spans six weeks, and covers topics including human rights implementation and enforcement on the global, regional, and national levels, as well as current and future human rights challenges.

The course is free and open to all. Laurence Helfer believes this universal accessibility could be particularly meaningful in the dissemination of information about human rights.
