Fieldcourses in the Global South

At University of Copenhagen, a number of courses at Master and Bachelor levels include development related fieldwork across the Global South. Several courses are open to external students with the required qualifications and some are program-specific (not open for external students). • IARU Global Summer School

  Advanced undergraduate or postgraduate students
  (7.5 ECTS)
  Three weeks fieldwork in Thailand

• Cross-disciplinary Health Research Field Course in Sri Lanka

  Master - Summer course (7.5 ECTS)
  Fieldwork at University of Rajarata, Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka

• Field Course in Ecology and Evolution of East Africa

  Bachelor - Summer course (7.5 ECTS)
  Fieldwork at Udzungwa Ecological Monitoring Centre, Tanzania

• Vulnerability and Risk Assessment Methods

  Master (5 ECTS)
  Includes two weeks fieldwork in Sri Lanka or alternative location

• Interdisciplinary Land Use and Natural Resource Management (SLUSE)

  Master (15 ECTS)
  Possible fieldwork destinations include Malaysia, Thailand and Kenya
